Illumin8 Events was established in 2015 and has spent the past decade building a reputation for thoughtful design, technical expertise and dependable delivery.

Originally known for illuminated letters and dance floors, the business has evolved significantly over ten years. Expanding into large-scale draping, fairy-light installations and complex venue transformations for both weddings and commercial clients.

This growth has been underpinned by continued investment in professional training, equipment and infrastructure, allowing Illumin8 to confidently deliver installations that require working at height, detailed planning and seamless on-site execution.

In May 2025, ten years on from its launch. Illumin8 expanded further with the acquisition of an established festive and commercial décor business, bringing additional expertise, stock and skilled team members into the company. This marked a significant step in strengthening Illumin8’s commercial and seasonal offering, while maintaining the same design-led approach and high standards clients expect.

Founded and led by Claire Nicoll, the business remains hands-on at its core, with every project overseen to ensure each installation reflects the care, creativity and professionalism Illumin8 is known for — whether styling a wedding venue or delivering a large-scale seasonal installation.
